This service hosts public IRS tax rules (contribution limits, brackets, deduction rules, deadlines) and interpretation of those rules. It is consumed by the TaxBench iOS app.
Only public identifiers (a tax year, a filing status, a topic) and — for the guidance tools — an anonymized, banded profile (coarse enums like an income band and an age band). It never receives your name, your exact income, your account balances, or any other personal financial detail.
Every calculation that uses a real dollar amount — your contributions, your retirement projection, your estimated tax savings — runs entirely on your iPhone and is never sent here.
Requests are authenticated with Apple App Attest and rate-limited. No advertising, no analytics, no tracking.
